How do you know if a roofer is credible? Ask to see written proof of the following:
- Contractor’s license.
- Performance Bond
- Worker’s Compensation for Employees
- Materials guarantee for products used on your roof
- Written guarantee from roofer for work performed.
- Liability insurance for worker error.
If the person can’t produce any of this, you are taking a big chance. Don’t!
